Observation Programs and Surveys
- E.U.N.E.A.S.O (EUropean Near Earth Asteroid Search
Observatories)
E.U.N.E.A.S.O is a NEO search, astrometric follow-up, and physical observation
program based on the cooperation between several european institutes active in the field
of asteroid research.
- O.D.A.S (OCA-DLR Asteroid Survey)
This is a survey program dedicated to the search for Near Earth Asteroid and comets
started in Oct. 1996 within E.U.N.E.A.S.O. The program is carried out as a joint venture between OCA
and DLR and is using the 152-90 cm Schmidt telescope at Calern. It was operational from 1996-1999.
- U.D.A.S (Uppsala-DLR Asteroid Survey)
This is a survey program dedicated to the search for Near Earth Asteroid and comets
started in 1999. The program is carried out as a joint venture between Uppsala Astronomical Observatory
and DLR and is using the 135-100 cm Schmidt telescope at Kvistaberg.
- A.D.A.S (Asiago-DLR Asteroid Survey)
This is a survey program dedicated to the search for Near Earth Asteroid and comets
started in Feb. 2001 The program is carried out as a joint venture between
Asiago Observatory and DLR and is using the 92-67 cm Schmidt telescope at Cima-Ekar.

E.U. Research Networks

Within this program, supported by the European Union during the 3-year period 1995-1997, eight
E.A.R.N. institutes organized a research network for the study of Minor Bodies. An abstract of the final report can be
