Asteroid: 1998 MR24
Predicted positions for ESO Schmidt plate 6872 with length of trail in arcsecs.
The predictor generates ephemerides for start, midth, and end of trail, along with
the predicted magnitude.

Actually measured positions, start and end of trail, as well as calculated mid
exposure position. The exposure data ( start, end and length) of ESO - Plate 6872 are
uncertain. The given times are derived from measurements of trails of 12 numbered
asteroids which have been identified on that plate. Based on their accurate
ephemerides the actual time of exposure has been calculated.
Due to the fact that already a multi-opposition orbit for this asteroid existed,
see M.P.E.C. 2000-Q34,
the predicted and actually measured positions agreed very closely.
