Asteroid: 2000 ET70
Predicted positions for ESO Schmidt plate 1955 with length of trail in arcsecs.
The predictor generates ephemerides for start, midth, and end of trail, along with
the predicted magnitude.

Actually measured positions, start and end of trail, as well as calculated mid
exposure position. Since there are uncertainties in the accurate time of the
exposure and the duration of the exposure, these values have been derived from
astrometric measurements of numbered asteroid (3816) which trail was identified
on the plate.

Scanned image of 2000 ET70 from February 18, 1977 on ESO Schmidt plate 1955. Note
the significant drop in brightness of the trail during approx. 1 hour exposure.
This is indicative of a large lightcurve amplitude produced from a rapidly
rotating, rather elongated body.
